Offline POS Systems: Sell When the Internet Drops
Internet outages should not mean closed tills. Offline-capable POS lets you finish sales and sync when connectivity returns.
What offline POS means
Sales and product data are stored on the device during outages. When the network is back, the app syncs transactions to the cloud or backup service.
Who needs it most
Market vendors, suburban shops, and any location with spotty mobile data benefit from offline-first design. Sri Lankan merchants in particular know connectivity is not always guaranteed during peak hours.
TillGrid approach
TillGrid is designed with offline-first capabilities so checkout continues when the network does not. Data syncs when you are back online.
